My journey

There is a common thread running through my life: helping people develop. Finding the greatest joy when people are happy with what they do. Providing others with food for thought to reflect and grow, both professionally and personally. Providing others with food for thought to reflect and grow, both professionally and personally.

During my vocational training after high school, it became clear: becoming a banker was great, but even better were the first training sessions I conducted for my fellow apprentices. My subsequent studies in Business Education and Business Administration took me abroad. I’ve tested and shared my ability to adapt to new situations and gladly pass on my intercultural experiences.

Recruiting emerging talents and giving them the best possible start. First at a German major bank, then for five years at Mercedes Benz in Stuttgart. I accompanied over 200 university graduates through an international program, coaching them and preparing them for their first leadership roles. In 2002, my first team: seven trainers for 140 commercial apprentices. Career entry and socialization – crucial for our ‘Next Generation’ and pivotal for the technical and leadership talent in our companies.

Thirteen years at Procter & Gamble followed, in various leadership roles, with increasing responsibility in human resources management across various functions. Here, I matured into an expert in both operational HR and HR Development. From 2018, I had the privilege to act as the Head of HR at Hexal, contributing as a coach and strategic advisor at the highest business level.

I have worked in many leadership teams as the only woman, and over the years, I have experienced the added value of increasing diversity in teams. As a wife and mother, I assist both women and men in finding their path to balance between work and family.

In my roles, I have accompanied restructuring and changes, coaching leaders on how to lead their teams strengthened through these changes. Keeping healthy in these processes and protecting people’s resilience is particularly close to my heart.

Most crucial for our success are the people, their loyalty, energy, innovation, as well as their health and enjoyment at work! In recent years, ‘generational conflicts’ have also intrigued me: How do we support young professionals who want to learn from experienced individuals – and vice versa, how can the experienced ones help in today’s rapidly changing times? It’s fascinating to use innovative concepts to harness diversity!

Setbacks and new beginnings

Due to the impact of COVID-19, I lost the joy and energy for my demanding job. A not-so-easy forced break, professional hiatus, and a long-cherished desire made it clear: refreshed and strengthened, I am embarking on entrepreneurship and sharing my experiences with people who gain clarity, develop, and maintain balance through my guidance!

In addition to my practical experience in HR, my training as a Systemic Consultant in 2002, numerous in-company coachings and trainings, certification as a Schema Coach, and a yoga training are essential to my holistic approach.
